BUYER BEWARE! NOT 3 cups and poor quality, even for $10
This "3-cup" coffee press can barely handle 2 liquid cups (note the OZ capacity) and the handle, which looks to be fused to the main "beaker" in all the photos actually seems to be super-glued on. Also, the spiral coil that keeps the mesh in place does not extend far enough to the sides, which lets grinds slip past.
This item's actual worth is probably around $5 -- decent for single servings, but for $10 and this quality, I would suggest Ikea products instead: [...]

Capacity confusion
So "3 cups" is not actually "3 cups" - 11 ounces is more like it! The box mentions "3 tasses" which would seem to provide the clue to the misunderstanding. I did not experience a problem with quality of manufacture as I will be returning the item unused due to its size. The design however seems to be a bit better than others that I have seen, it's actually cute. I think it would be a convenient size for smaller cups.

Remember, it's THREE CUPS
It's a great little press, it matches our red kitchen, and it's unbreakable, but remember to get a larger one for times when you have more than one or two people drinking coffee at your place! Also, we sure to soak this and wash this VERY well with grease-fighting detergent to get the plastic clean and keep the unit from discoloration. This may limit its use at the campground or in hotels.

Flimsy and now worthless
It is the right size for a cup and a half or so of coffee, which is what my wife (a decaf drinker) enjoys each morning. I bought the red one and she thought it was cute. It was a little insubstantial, all cheap plastic except for one metal push rod, and didn't strain the coffee all that well even after relying on a second filter attached to the lid that strained by the spout. It was mostly useful until, after less than a month of gentle use, the plunger split in half and broke off rendering the entire thing useless.
Contrast this with a full sized model I've used for years which has no plastic parts to speak of and you'll understand my disappointment. I'm off to get a sturdier model that I can examine before purchasing.

Unbreakable French press coffee maker
The BonJour 3-Cup Lucie French Press with Unbreakable Carafe does a good job of filtering the grounds from the coffee. It is smaller than I realized when I ordered it, just makes one cup (or two demitasses).

Junk
Started out disappointing and within the first week this was completely worthless. It's almost impossible to push plunger down and it still doesn't filter well at all. Really turned out to be even cheaper than what I paid for...

Too Small!!!!!
3 very small cups!!!! I returned it, got the 8 cup one and am now very happy.

excellent
The press is beautifully made. It brings grace to an otherwise all white kitchen. I got the 22 0z. and it makes one cup of coffee. My favorite cups are mugs that hold about 14 oz of liquid, considering room for the grounds, the press filter, and the pour spout at the top, this is a one cup maker. My first cup was absolutely delicious there is no better way to make coffee! Since my old glass and plastic press broke I have been using a drip maker, there is no comparison. In February I will prewarm the carafe and cup with hot water. That will guarantee a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter morning.

Makes Great Coffee, Built to last!
After looking at a ton of reviews of all different kinds of coffee makers I bought the 22 oz. press for my wife because she is a 1 cup of coffee drinker a day. (I don't drink coffee)
With this maker she gets a full mug and about a 1/3 refill warmer. Which was perfect because most coffee makers a minimum of 2 cups of coffee. We thought this would be nice because we wouldn't be wasting a lot of coffee beans and it's fairly easy to use.
She has only had this Press for about 5 days now and she is still practicing getting her own personal measurements down for what will eventually be the perfect cup of coffee. We both think that after a little testing she will eventually find what she is looking for. This thing is great, you can basically be your own master of your own coffee.
This thing is SOLID. I honestly don't think we will EVER need to buy another coffee maker again. 18/10 stainless steel should never go bad, and will probably be passed down when we are long gone. Yes, it's a little more costly than most french presses (about double) but we think it's well worth the investment since it will last forever instead of just a couple years.
I also bought a Hario mini grinder that works great to give you a nice course grind.
All in all We are really happy with this purchase and will probably be buying the Frieling Presses for Wedding gifts in the future (but will probably opt for about 10 more oz for a couple that both drink coffee.
Thanks for reading!

Frieling 0.5L Coffee Press
Having tried various other coffee makers and read all I could about what influences the making of a cup of good coffee, I decided to check out the "French" press as this would give control over the type of beans, fineness of the grounds, the water temperature and the time the grounds are in contact with the water. I experimented with variations in these parameters and concluded that; slightly coarse grounds seems best, the time the grounds are left in contact should be around 5 minutes and the water temperature should be somewhat below boiling to reduce bitterness. Once my digital thermometer arrives I should be all set to standardize the method and consistently make coffee I really like. This Frieling stainless steel press is double walled so the water holds temperature through the contact period (I preheat the press by pouring in hot water and then discard it prior to pouring in the water coffee is to be made with). This press is robustly made and is of all stainless steel construction with no plastics. It is sized just right for 2, or the occasional, 3 cups of coffee. I think I have found my ultimate coffee machine and its price tag is surprisingly low.

Excellent product; although not perfect
This is an excellent French press and has a number of attributes: sturdy, excellent heat retention, easy to clean, and just the right size for a quick personal serving with a partial refill. It has the added benefit of being made completely of stainless steel, avoiding broken glass, broken plastic, & the concern regarding chemicals leaching from plastics into your hot beverage. The only minor negative features are: spurts out of pouring spout unless under-filled with water, screen is coarse & lets more grinds through, and it's a bit heavy when packed in your luggage for trips. Despite the minor negatives, it ranks a 5-star rating because it remains the best of all available commercial products for its purpose.

Question : How do I know if a phone I bought from China is "global" or works here in the USA
I put in my sim card, it registers, but the phone just keeps saying "No service". Someone said maybe it isn't global. How do I know if that's the problem How can I tell if it's global or not
Answer:
All you need to know if the model and make of the phone. There's really not a GLOBAL setting, it's all about what frequencies that phone can pick up. It's kinda like buying a radio that can only pick up 3 channels, you just need to know what 3 channels - then you can look up which channels work here in the U.S. For instance, Lets says you have a Nokia 6126, Go to www.PHONESCOOP.com and on top left, jump to 6126. It will say that this phone picks up cell phone companies broadcasting on GSM 850 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900. Anyway for cell phones that change countries, you can look up each country and see what the cell phone companies there, what frequency they broadcast out on. (Mostly here in the US our companies use either 850 mHz or 1900 mHz.)http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/index.shtmlAnyways some countries (like Japan) use way different frequencies then we do, so their phones are built to pick up a different frequency that none of our cell phone companies broadcast on. So the phone maybe global and work in other countries, but we dont have any companies using that frequency here.
