Great pan

No point going overboard, but this is a very, very good nonstick pan. Solid, very nonstick, easy to handle, quite durable. A very good value.

amazon price is a little high

I haven't got this frying pan yet, but I must say that amazon lists the retail price as $39.99, and claims it is selling it at a discount of $5, offering it for $35. I have not seen this for sale anywhere for the $39.99 they claim. It is for sale everywhere at $34.99, the same as amazon, so there is no discount. In fact, the latest "cook's illustrated" magazine lists the retail price as $34.99. There is nothing wrong with selling something for full price, but I don't like a full price that claims to be a "sale" price.

T-Fal 12 " Professional Saute pan

I ordered this from Amazon for 39.95, S & H was 6.76, Sales Tax was 4.07 .. for a total of 50.82. I dearly love the pan!
I also saw it advertised last Sunday for sale at a local store for 29.99/reg price 34.99. I'm disappointed that Amazon charged
so much. I always buy my books from them at a good discount, so I'm curious as to why this was more than the retail price
of a dept store. I could have least saved S&H and $5 by buying local. Next time I won't go to Amazon as a first source.

Bought Four Based on Cooked Illustrated Review

Great fry pan. Not too heavy, cooks evenly, cleans like a breeze. I got them with a buy 3 get one free deal which brought the price down to $30, on par with what most other places were selling it for (one store has it for $23). I would have given it five stars if the price was lower.

Awesome Saute Pan!

I was looking for a match to some older pans we had, which were T-Fal with the red logo on the bottom. Found out, these are the newer models! This is a great aluminum pan, and the handle bolts on somehow with a big phillips screw. This means no dimples/rivet heads in the pan! Only smooth, coated non-stick surface! I really enjoy the large 12 1/2" size too!

The bottom is a shiny aluminum, with a circular pattern in it. Looks kind of like a vinyl record pattern. The outside walls are grey, and the inside coated with non-stick. Also, the picture here makes it look like a deep pan. I am not sure if they used a different size pan, or the image got squished, but the pan is a lot wider, and the sides are normal height in regards to the traditional saute pan.

I sent for some matching, smaller pans too. They all work great, and match too! I have to admit, I never used aluminum pans before, but they are working out great! I am very happy with this item!

Great Gift

This and two other T-Fal fryers were Christmas gifts for my sister.

She absolutely loves them. She has told me repeatedly how great they are.

Not as pictured

The frying pan is okay but it is not as pictured. There is no red spot in the middle of the pan and the bottom is aluminum, not the easy to clean T-Fal. I probably would not have bought it if I had seen the picture of the actual frying pan.
