Editorial Review :
Pyrex storage 4.8 cup dish with red plastic cover.
Customer Review :
Perfect lunch size
I'm not sure about the accuracy of the 4.8 cup capacity. They are the same size as my Martha Stewart 1.12 quart container, which is 4.48 cups. Anyhow, they are the perfect size for lunch since I used to use 32 oz. Ziploc plastic containers. Glass is so much easier to clean and does not absorb any odors. I would not put soup in these containers but they do seem to seal well. The lids are better than the Martha Stewart one in that when refrigerated, the lids of these containers are more flexible. I have other glass Pyrex containers and they are all of the same high quality. I prefer squarish containers because they make better use of space. The round ones are better for liquids since their lids seal better.

Forget the plastic - go with GLASS - it's Classic!
This is an excellent size for banana bread or meatloaf and is all quality from Pyrex. The cover is for storage (freezer, too) but the glass pan goes from freezer to microwave or oven. Glass is so much cleaner and so durable! Aren't you tired of buying and re-buying all those lousy plastic containers? We bought four (got one FREE with Amazon) so we can make four meatloaves at once: one for tonight and three more for the freezer! Once you experience the convenience, beauty, and durability of Pyrex, you will not go back to plastic storage and microwave containers. Get ready for the Holidays! Buy these with the cheery red covers right now, then you're all set to bake Christmas cakes in them, wrap, and your gifts are ready! What a thoughtful, budget friendly gift! Highly recommended.

Wonderful Oblong size for saving refrig space.
Love the oblong size shape, its space saving vs. the usual round shape. However, I dislike the color of the red lid, its an eye sore.

Customer Review :
These bowls are the best!
I love these bowls. I use them smaller one for my salad bowl and use the others to make the salad in.. They are perfect for preparing something fast especially if you don't want to get out the big mixer, just use the larger one and whisk by hand..simple...They wash up nice as well..Love them!!

Excellent Bowls
These are excellent mixing/storage bowls. They are a bit heavy when compared to plastic or even stainless steel, but sometimes glass is just better for certain applications - tomato or acidic based liquids that react to metal or would stain plastic.

Choosing Glass Bowls vs. Plastic, Ceramic or Aluminum
I enjoy the look of colorful ceramic bowls in the kitchen--especially when I am mixing up a boring beige-colored batter, but I really prefer the way a glass bowl looks sitting in the drainer all clean and sparkling after use. Both are weighty even before you fill them with heavy batter. I also like the rim on these Pyrex bowls because it prevents dripping when you pour out the finished batter. Glass doesn't chip as easily as ceramic bowls if you accidently hit it with your handheld mixer. Compared to using glass, plastic feels slippery to me, is limited by its opaqueness, but is lighter in weight (which might be an important advantage for older cooks). Metal bowls are usually lightweight, but can be depressing in a kitchen because their solid, graytone interior prevents any light from illuminating your creation. I recommend these Pyrex bowls as a perfect housewarming gift.

Affordable, U.S. made quality
A quite typical Pyrex high quality bowls. Versatile, durable and aesthetically pleasing. Three sizes, all of them dishwasher safe. Very good value for the money.

A bit smaller than I expected, but nice
These are durable and reliable as is most Pyrexware. They are a bit smaller than I was expecting, so look at a ruler before you order so you know what you are getting, but still a nice addition to my baking shelf.

Editorial Review :
This Wheaton Staining Jar’s unique feature is the wide top. The design makes transferring slides convenient and it is especially suitable for staining slides that are inscribed on one end. The jar holds 8 single 3” x 1” (75mm x 25 mm) slides vertically or 16 slides back-to-back. Jar and lid are manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions (mm): 42 L x 26 W x 85 D. Wheaton offers a variety of staining dishes and Coplin jars suitable for various histology staining. Routine staining is performed to give contrast to the tissue being examined, as without staining it is very difficult to see differences in cell morphology. Hematoxylin and eosin (abbreviated H&E) are the most commonly used stains in histology and histopathology. Hematoxylin colors nuclei blue, eosin colors the cytoplasm pink. To see the tissue under a microscope, the sections are stained with one or more pigments. There are hundreds of various techniques which have been used to selectively stain cells and cellular components. Other compounds used to color tissue sections include Safranin, Oil Red O, Congo red, Fast Green FCF, Silver salts and numerous natural and artificial dyes that were usually originated from the development dyes for the textile industry.

Answer:
Definitely the Intel Core Acer Aspire - double the capacity in the hardrive - it's more durable, The screen and ram is the same on both - but I'd choose the Acer. I'd also go to a local electronics store and ask a professional's advice there even if you don't plan on buying it there.
