Great for Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day

I bought this specifically to make the dough in Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes A Day and it is so wonderful! It doesn't take up very much room in my fridge and works perfect. I purchased it with the Camwear Seal Cover for 6&8 Quart Camwear Round and it works great. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love this stuff!
I was looking for a set of new flour/sugar
containers for the pantry, didn't want anything
fancy taking up space on the counter with those
annoying lids or too small.
I ordered 2 6-quart for flour and sugar, and 4-
4-quart for brown sugar, pwd. sugar, wheat flour,
and chocolate chips/nuts.
Highly recommend for bakers--easy snap lids, easy fill, lightweight.
Cambro also makes these in the more rigid plastic if you
prefer that.

BPA plastic

I bought this item to make "Bread in 5 Minutes a Day," too. Great book! However, when I recieved the Cambro round, I sent it back. It is made of plastic #7, shown inside the recycling symbol on the bottom. Plastic #7 can contain BPA. If you are trying to avoid BPA in food storage items, I would avoid this item. Some states already have laws requiring baby food products be BPA-free and the FDA has medical concerns about it, including potential links to breast and prostate cancer and early onset puberty. Why add more to my home? I would hope Amazon would add the plastic type to this item's product description to inform customers.

Great but very large

This Cambro container works perfectly for the ABin5 bread dough, but it is quite large. It takes up a lot of room in the fridge, and I had to reorganize several shelves in order to find a place for it. Still, it does its job, and is really easy to clean when necessary. If I were ordering again, however, I'd probably get the less expensive Cambro 6-quart container(s), because they are a much better value for the price.

Perfect for Storing Dough

These containers are perfect for storing your dough in the frig. I also use one for flour. They are well-made, high quality, and easy to clean. The lids go on tight and stay on tight. Perfect! You get two containers for a great price. Inexpensive alternative to other high priced containers. I highly recommend.

My husband and I bought these heavy duty clear plastic food storage containers for ice cream--because we make homemade ice cream at least once a month--and they worked out so perfectly that we even bought a second set in a smaller size.

We've used them and they have lived up to expectations. The price seemed a bit high but as we launch into our own bread making we found that there's not a lot of good alternatives. Just hoping that they are durable and last several years.
