Editorial Review :

Introducing the COFFEEDUCK, a new innovation for Senseo owners (does not work with the Senseo Supreme or Senseo Deluxe). The COFFEEDUCK works with your favorite coffee. From now on YOU control the flavour, strength and amount of coffee from your Senseo. The COFFEEDUCK can also be used with one or two regular paper pods, so if you ever lose your Senseo pod holders, you can still make pod coffee! You will be amazed at the possibilities that the COFFEEDUCK has to offer. A regular cup of coffee no problem, an espresso no problem, 2 cups of coffee, you name it! Want a cup of your favorite Starbuck's coffee? Your favorite flavored coffee? With the COFFEEDUCK you are no longer stuck paying the high price for Senseo coffee pods! (for best results use a fine grind)

Editorial Review :

The Coffeeduck New Generation ONLY works in the Senseo models HD7820-DH7824, HD7830, and the HD7841-HD7842 models. If you have the original Senseo this will NOT work. The Coffeeduck lets you change your Senseo into an espresso coffee maker. The Coffeeduck is a 2-pod holder that is also works for ground coffee. Youll be amazed by its versatility! The Coffeeduck is usable for all types of coffee, from fast-brew filter to finely ground espresso coffee. You can put 5 to 14 grams of loose coffee in the Coffeeduck (ordinary paper pods contain 7 grams of coffee). Preparing one cup of coffee takes about 20 seconds more compared to preparing coffee using a paper pod.

Questions & Answers
Question : Can I make hot tea by ripping open the tea bags and putting the tea in a reusable k-cup coffee filter?
Can I make hot tea by ripping open the tea bags and putting the tea in a reusable k-cup coffee filter?A week ago, I ordered Keurig b70 Single cup coffee maker. It will have this reusable coffee filter that I can put whatever grounded coffee beans I want in it. Would I be able to use the contents of a tea bag to make coffee like this?

Answer:
i've been doing just that with the ekobrew reusable filter ( http://www.squidoo.com/ekobrew ) and it seems to work just fine for me. if you'd like it stronger, try 2 teas bags.

Question : What grind to use for Keurig reusable coffee filter?
I bought the reusable filter insert for the Keurig and used coffee from starbucks to fill it, it was just a regular grind for a flat bottom filter... basically all the grinds ended up in my cup of coffee, do I need a grind that is more course or more fine? has anyone had better luck with this product than I?!thanks

Answer:
Most K-Cup reusable filters use a standard grind. Stay away from a real fine grind as it can clog the filter up a bit. This is really hard to give advice for as there are a few k-cup reusable filters out now.

Question : does any one make reusable coffee filter for Creativa coffe machine?
does any one make reusable coffee filter for Creativa coffe machine?

Answer:
unless it looks REALLY weird, there are lots of generic reusable filters in different kitchen gadget stores. Even places like Walmart sometimes sells stuff like that.Take your basket, if its removable) with you so you can compare sizes.http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dgarden&field-keywords=reusable+coffe e+filters&x=0&yAmazon has lots too.

Question : Do you have to clean reusable coffee filters?
Do you have to clean reusable coffee filters?

Answer:
If you're talking about the ones that are like a basket that come with the coffee maker, I usually rinse those out between uses, or allow to soak in some diluted bleach solution if they're really soiled. You don't want to use regular dish soap or the coffee residue on the basket will hold some of the soap in it and your coffee will smell and taste like soap. This is a good tip if you have a non-ceramic coffee mug too.

Question : Should there be reusable trash bags, diapers, and coffee filters?
Should we have these products since paper and plastic take the majority of what we throw away? Why or why not?

Answer:
They make washable cloth diapers as well. I've never seen a reusable trash bag, because the idea doesn't make sense. The whole point in the bag is to make the trash easier to transport, if you just empty it out into the dumpster it will blow out and cause problems, and just generally be more difficult to deal with. There are biodegradable bags you can buy, however. There are also trash compressors that compact it into a little square, which you can then tie off with string I believe.

Question : Is it okay to put coffee grounds in a garbage disposal?
I have a reusable coffee filter and rinse it out after use in the sink. Is it ok just to dump the old coffee grounds into the garbage disposal?

Answer:
yes, you can but coffe grinds do wonder for your ganden so dump them in a flower bed and watch what happens....

Question : Where do I get reusable coffee filters?
I bought a coffee maker from walmart about a month ago and It uses a reusable coffee filter which I love but where do I get those filters whenever I finally need to replace the one in my maker? Walmart doesn't carry the filters, atleast not online that I could find and not in any of the stores near me. This is the filter my coffee maker has if you need a picture http://www.bestgreenhometips.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/416yujinfl_sl500_aa280_.jpg

Answer:
Target, kohls, ace hardware or yes even your local supermarket could carry them. some advertise they are better then the others but they seem to be the same all around.

Question : Can you use disposable coffee filters in a coffee maker with a built in filter?
I got my mom a coffee maker for Christmas and I think it has a reusable filter for the coffee grounds. (Its wrapped and I don't want to unwrap it to check because I am almost out of wrapping paper.) I also got filters without paying attention, ha-ha. So, should I just not give her the filters or can she use them instead of the reusable filter? Thank you.

Answer:
I have a coffee maker with the permanent filter, and the instructions say that it can be used with just the mesh filter, or with a paper filter. The permanent filter is part of the basket that the ground coffee goes in, so you would use a paper filter in addition to, not instead of, the mesh filter. Either way, I'm very satisfied with the coffee mine makes.

Question : Has anyone tried a reusable plastic coffee filter?
I need to buy coffee filters and wonder if it's better to get the kind you reuse. If not, what's the best kind? Do brands matter?

Answer:
i use a plastic and metal reusable coffee filter and i love it.....dont think the brand matters, just make sure it will fit in the basket of your coffee maker...i bought mine at starbucks, but you can get them way cheaper at walmart or probably even a grocery store....

Question : For convenience, can you fill an empty k cup with coffee grounds and use that in a keurig single cup machine?
I have a couple of different coffee reusable filters, all of which are a bit difficult to clean out. I was wondering if there was a way to use a used k cup, fill it up with coffee grounds and just throw it away when finished? Please do not respond with "Yes I think so". Rather, if you've tried it, I'd like to know the results.

Answer:
No I don't think so.
