Editorial Review :
New Metro Design’s Beater Blade is an electric mixer attachment which thoroughly mixes batter, eliminating the need to stop and scrape the bowl manually. Engineered for use with top brand electric stand mixers, including most models offered by KitchenAid, Cuisinart, DeLonghi and Viking, the new Beater Blade beats, scrapes, folds and incorporates ingredients thoroughly for fool-proof baking. The new Beater Blade+ ingeniously improves on the functionality of standard V-shaped beaters offered with high-end stand mixers by crafting a high-quality, enhanced blade that includes a flexible rubber “wing” down the entire length of both sides of the blade. The durable, food-grade edging simulates the action of a powerful spatula to gently, yet thoroughly scrape the bowl clean. The wing-system design acts like a wiper blade that continuously scrapes sides and bottom of bowl while it mixes virtually eliminating hand-scraping and batter build-up on the blade. BeaterBlade’s state-of-the-art design continuously and automatically scrapes batters during mixing, which can speed up the process by as much as 50 percent. By eliminating the need to turn off and on the mixer to scrape the bowl, Beater Blade reduces wear of the motor of the mixer, as well. New Metro Design’s Beater Blade excels in a full range of mixing applications, including creaming butter, sugar and eggs to fluffy perfection, and preparing frostings and pastry creams quickly and easily. Model KA-TH fits all KitchenAid tilt head mixers regardless of the KitchenAid model numbers.

Questions & Answers
Question : Does anyone know wher i can get a windows xp mixer from ?
After formatting my computer an re-installing windows XP SP2, my mixer dissapeard,So now when i go to "start, all programs, accessories, entertainment and volume control" it says i dont have an active mixer. So does anyone know wher i can download the windows audio mixer ?
Answer:
I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here. First, you had no problems with audio prior to doing the reformat / reinstall of Windows. Second, it was a smooth reinstall, no error messages, etc. Third, when you get the notice that there's no active mixer, you do not receive any error codes that could be searched.I'd click on start > control panel > double click sounds and audio devices icon. A properties dialog box should appear with several tabs. On the volume tab, is Sigma Tel listed? Click the advanced button. Do you get a volume control box?Click on the audio tab. Is Sigma Tel listed as the default device for sound playback? Click the hardware tab, then highlight each component one at a time. Click the properties button and you can check for new drivers. Time consuming , but it doesn't cost you anything else. Go through each item. If a newer driver is found you can install it. If you already have the latest drivers, it'll tell you that too.And if all else fails, you could contact Microsoft support;http://support.microsoft.com/contactussupport/?ws=supportplrr

Question : How do you turn the volume up on my computer?
Okay so the CPU was making lots of noise and my mom took to supposedly get fixed. When the guy brought it it worked really fast. When i tried to you to youtube it showed the video but you couldn't hear nothing .Then i went to start>all programs>accessories>entertainment>volume control but it said there are no active mixer devices available .SO thanks in advance
Answer:
If the other answers don't help it is possible that a connecting wire got pulled out when your computer was being repaired either from the motherboard(most likely), the sound card, or the speakers. You should have your mom take it back to the repairman and check to see if that is the case. If it is I would hope they would reconnect it and not charge anything. There are a lot of wires inside a computer and you often have to disconnect some to get at the part you need to work on so it happens.

Question : I have an antique oster kitchen center w/ meat grinder, blender, juicer etc.. I'd like to sell. What should I do?
The item belonged to my mother in law and looks to be made 1940-1960. It works and I have the glass mixer bowl w/ dough mixers and all accessories. It is light tan and dark brown in color.
Answer:
It has to be over 100 years old to be called antique, just fyi.Look up the serial number on the bottom and then google that to find out exactly how old it is.Those kinds of things are not old enough to have any real value as collectables yet and is probably still being used in some kitchens.Try to find one like it on Ebay to see what folks are asking for one like it and also to see if any bids are being made on it.

Question : Should I buy a kitchenaid food processor or should I buy the accessories for the stand mixer?
Should I buy a kitchenaid food processor or should I buy the accessories for the stand mixer?
Answer:
I have the bowl-lift stand mixer and I've been tempted by the food processor. I'm going with the accessories because there's only one footprint on the counter and the accessories will need to be stored for the processor. If you have lots of space then have both. If space is limited then I would just get the accessories.GOOD COOKING & BAKING!!!

Question : What accessories do I need for my homemade DJ 12" Mixer flight case?
I have a Numark M6 USB and made my basic design and have all my peices cut out. What I was wondering is where I can get some hinges for the back where they can hook onto each other so that I can take the top right off while using it. Also should I use auto carpet on the out side or just paint it and put the metal edging on?
Answer:
Any music shop will have the hinges you are looking for, and I would go with paint rather than carpet. Paint can easily be retouched, carpet rips and has to be replaced.

Question : KitchenAid Stand Mixer attachments, who uses them?
For KitchenAid Stand Mixer owners: Who has the attachments and accessories and how often do you use them?
Answer:
I have the slicer/shredder attachment and use it fairly often, especially during the christmas season. For example, grinding pecans for cookies is a pain in the neck without the attachment. The attachment gets it done in about 20 seconds.Another thing I use if for is grating cheese. Quiche is much easier with the attachment.Yesterday I used it for slicing apples for a strudel. You can also make killer hash browns with it.I could list all sorts of things but since I've had my mixer about ten years it is a major component to my cooking.

Question : How much should I sell a 10 year old Kitchen Aid mixer for?
My grandfather just moved into a senior care center and my mother and I are having an estate sale for him. The house is full of things including a 10 year old Kitchen Aid mixer. The mixer is in great condition with all of the accessories. He probably rarely used it. Suggestions for pricing?
Answer:
I would try to get at least $100 for it. You can buy them new now for about $200.
