Questions & Answers
Question : How do you make the jars with the cookie ingredients in them?
How do you make those jars that have the ingrediants for cookies in them and a little recipie attached?
Answer:
Cookie Mix in a Jar1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour3/4 tsp. baking soda1/2 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup packed brown sugar1 1/2 cups chocolate chips OR butterscotch chips OR peanut butter chipsIn a quart-size canning jar, layer ingredients in the order in which they are listed, making sure layers are as level as possible. After adding sugar, pack down firmly with a flat, narrow object; repeat after adding brown sugar.Center an 8" fabric circle over the lid and secure with a rubber band. Tie a ribbon just under the rubber band to secure fabric, then remove rubber band.Attach a card with baking instructions and mark with an expiration date of 1 year from date made.Baking Instructions:In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp. vanilla extract.Add the contents of the jar and stir until well mixed.Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet 2" apart.Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes, until light brown.Allow to cool on the pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies. Now this is a pretty basic recipe and you will be able to add any ingredient you want to replace the chocolate chips etc.You can add coconut, nuts, crushed candy bar, M&m's. You get the idea.Have fun wtih it.

Answer:
P[jar 1 & ginger snap] = .4*6/15 = .16P[jar 2 & ginger snap] = .6*4/12 = .2P[jar 1 | ginger snap] = .16/(.16+.2) = 4/9 <-------

Question : Can anyone tell me how I can make Christmas Cookie Jars?
I will be making some candies and cookies and wish to share them and would like to make some cookie jars to put them in. Thank you for your help.
Answer:
Snowman Cookie JarMaterials: Glass jar suitable for cookies; paper for pattern; pencil; masking tape; tissue paper in assorted colors; Elmer’s Glue; paintbrush; Crystal Clear Krylon Spray.1. Draw a snowman or any design of your choice on paper The pattern should be the actual size desired on the cookie jar. 2. Tape the pattern temporarily to the inside of the jar, with the design facing out. Tear or cut the tissue paper into fingernail-sized pieces. 3. In a cup, put three tablespoons of glue and one tablespoon of water. Mix thoroughly. With a brush, paint some of the solution on a small area on the outside of the glass jar, following the pattern design. 4. While the glue-painted area is still moist, place a few pieces of tissue on the moist area. Brush a little of the glue mixture over the tissue pieces. Repeat in another area, slightly overlapping the first area. When the design area is completely covered with tissue pieces, add details cut from tissue. 5. Give the completed design a thin brushed-on layer of the glue mixture. Allow to dry completely. When dry, give the entire outside of the jar a thin layer of Crystal Clear Krylon Spray. Let dry; repeat. Remove the taped pattern from inside the jar.Note: (You may also use ready made holiday stencils for this project and simply paint your design onto the jar).nfd♥
