Mine is in the corner between the in-counter stove and the wall ovens so I keep items like cooking oil in there for easy access.

Unless you go to a Chinese buffet, they usually have the lazy Susan in the middle of the table. You will see this when you go to the restaurant to make arrangements.

Are you talking the large one in the bottom cabinets or the small one in the upper cabinets. For the Large one I set up my electrical appliances ....Toaster, blender, mixer, crock pot,food processor. forman grill. Makes it easy to get to them. For the top ones I get friends to donate baby food jars to me and set up spices I use the other for junk drawer items....screws, band aids, corks, safety pins, a threaded needle, small container of tape, paper clips, push pins - you know all that little stuff you want available in case.

I would worry about the plastic breaking. Plastic often becomes brittle over time...

try ABC Rental or That's Entertainment or you could search the thrift stores and buy them cheap (they don't have to match - you can decorate them).
